Secondary School Students

Are you making big decisions about your future and wondering where to start? Here is what we suggest

  • Talk to your guidance counsellor, business or accounting teacher - they are a great starting point to guide you in the right direction

  • Speak to people in the profession - they will give you great ideas about where to start

  • Check out the college courses that give you a step up on the ladder

No matter where you are located in Ireland, there is a college and course that will give you a good grounding for a career in tax.

FanTAXtic competition

The FanTAXtic competition requires a team of 3 students in transition year academic year, to submit a 2-minute video giving their thoughts on a tax issue

Third Level Scholarship

We award a Third level scholarship to a student who pursues a relevant degree

Secondary School Visits

Today's secondary school students are the Chartered Tax Advisers (CTA) of the future, and the best way for them to find out about the career is to actually hear from someone who works in the profession. We organise free school visits where one of our members will meet with students and give an engaging presentation about what a career in tax is all about.
